Celebrate Your Achievements!

Recently, our oldest finished his last college class.  I asked him what he wanted to do to celebrate his graduation and he said, “Nothing.  I just want to get on with my life.”

I see this a lot – with family, with friends, and with clients.  We set a goal and strive so hard to achieve it.  Struggling over the bumps in the road along the way.

And when the end is reached, the goal is accomplished, guess what?  It’s old news. We’ve already set a new goal and are ready to start on our next path in life.

And we forget to Celebrate our Achievements.

I want to remind you, as I reminded my son, how amazing it is to realize a goal that you set out for yourself.

It doesn’t matter if it is a small goal or a long term one...it takes dedication, time, energy, sometimes laughter and sometimes tears to accomplish the feats we set for ourselves.

Remember how you felt when you set out on the journey.  The joy, excitement, trepidation, and commitment that you made to yourself.

So I encourage, whether your goal is big or small, Honor Yourself and Celebrate Your Achievement.

How you celebrate is up to you to decide.  It could be something as simple as treating yourself to a glass of wine or as elaborate as a Ball.

The point is to celebrate.  To focus on the amazing things you create in your reality!

Celebrate!!

- Sarah

P.S. If you celebrate with a Ball, I want an invite. 😊
